Practices for body, mind and emotions.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
– Bhagavad Gita
Our Approach
It is important to note that we are neither doctors nor physiotherapists, so we do not provide medical treatment but rather offer a methodology for general physical, mental and emotional maintenance.
Body
Control over our body through postures and movement.
It increases muscle strength and flexibility, improves joints, and enhances overall physical endurance. It improves the cardiovascular system by lowering blood pressure, reducing the risk of heart disease, and improving blood lipid profiles. It can be effective in pain management, such as alleviating lower back pain.
Mind
Control over our thoughts through breathing exercises and meditation.
These practices activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which relaxes the body and mind, thereby reducing cortisol (the stress hormone) levels, creating a sense of calm, and helping to manage anxiety and depression. They enhance cognitive functions such as attention, memory, and executive functions. A yoga session can balance the nervous system, offering a sense of relief and relaxation for the mind, improving sleep quality and aiding in stress management.
Emotions
Control over our emotions through relaxation.
Our emotions are deeply tied to chemical reactions in the brain and body. Yoga and meditation have profound effects on the biochemical processes, influencing hormones, neurotransmitters, and overall cellular function in ways that support physical and mental well-being: regulates stress hormone, balances the neurotransmitters, improves endocrine function and boosts the immune system.
